The American Austin has a 12hp in-line 4 cylinder engine. Stock, it has a 2.20" bore with a 3.0" stroke, 3 speed transmission with straight cut gears. This car cruises at 45mph pretty good. I'm working on an engine with a modern profile cam that should boost the performance substantially. (See my projects roadster).
