As we headed to the museum George Halin detoured to what was called the "Boulevard" back in the Austin / Bantam days. The factory took a lot of pictures of the cars, both Austin and Bantam, as promotional pictures for magazines and ads. I have added a few old promo's below next to the "today" picture. Look at the wall behind the Austin roadster and the home in the background of the Austin coupe. If you have any old promo pictures taken on the boulevard please send them to me and I will add them.
I have to say again that this is a lot steeper than it looks in the pictures. I don't believe anyone had any problems here.
