George and his family put on a great picnic. We had over 250 in attendance with his family doing all the cooking and arranging. A tremendous job and lots of fun!
These pictures were taken before the meet started on Sunday. I stopped in at the local McDonalds next to the Days Inn and this was on the wall. This was put together by local historian David Todd. It is a short pictorial on the history of Armco Steel and who occupied the building over the years; American Austin and Bantam being among them. Mike Harrell and I on Bantam Avenue and the a trip to the Austin and Bantam Factory.
The parking lot behind the Days Inn early in the week.
Check in with George and Karol Halin.
