2011 Trophy Meet--Itinerary

Thursday, October 13th -Arrival Day
3:00 pm: Arrival and Sea Breeze Inn check in
4:30-7:00 pm: Welcome Party at Tony and Glynis Greening’s home

The welcome party was very laid back with great conversation. Tony and Glynis have a wonderful home with a spectacular view.

The party was well attended and I think everyone had a fantastic time, I did. The two photos below is the view from Tony and Glynis front porch.

Friday, October 14th
7:30-8:30 am: Tail Gate Swap Meet
9:30 am: Line up for Mini Tour of 17 Mile Drive. Oceanfront with stops at vista points, and group photo ops with official photographer. Stop for Morning Tea at the Lodge at Pebble Beach, shopping.
10:45 am: Tour continues around the ocean front of Carmel to the Carmel Mission, then south on Highway One to Point Lobos State Park, then back to Ocean Ave, Carmel for lunch and more shopping
3:00 pm: Tour will regroup and return to Pacific Grove
5:00 pm: Business Meeting
7:00 pm: Dinner on your own

The Tour

The tour was FANTASTIC! It just doesn't get any better than driving an Austin or Bantam around Pacific Grove and Carmel. The views were just spectacular! The weather was perfect!

Please note that all of the photos that are "driving" were taken while looking backwards from the passenger seat from our roadster by Jan. Pretty good for over the shoulder!

Saturday, October 15th
9:00 am: Cars line up at Sea Breeze Inn for departure to Jewell Park
9:15 am: Cars leave for car show area and show staging
10:00 am: Car show begins
11:00 am: Car judging begins
3:00 pm: Car show ends, removal of cars and clean up of car show area.
4:00 pm: Car show area cleaned and vacated
6:00 pm: Pre-dinner social hour
7:00 pm: Annual Banquet and Awards Dinner
9:30 pm: Banquet ends

The Show

The Show was held at Jewel park one block of the main street (Lighthouse Ave) and one long block from the Pacific Ocean in Pacific Grove, Ca.. It was a very nice park with about 23 cars on display.
