Boulder City was originally the construction town for Hoover Dam. Boulder City is now known for its many green parks and recreation areas and considered to be the best place in Nevada to raise kids. The City is very active and has many events year round with some as many as 100,000 people attending it. It is the only City in Nevada that does not allow gambling and the City keeps a tight control of it’s growth to insure the quality of our small community. Boulder City is just twenty miles away from Las Vegas and eight miles from Lake Mead. There are two casinos just out side of the town minutes away from down town Boulder.
